Obina Blueberry Hill opened just last June in the mountainous area of Kofu, near Chiyoda lake, where the average temperature is 2 to 3 degrees lower than in the basin.
Its owner has but one goal in mind: have visitors gain an entirely new appreciation for blueberries, as they learn that because these fruits stop ripening and decrease in quality once separated from the plant, the only way to reveal their true taste is to eat them straight from the bush!
➡️Come pick your fill of juicy, “rabbiteye” blueberries (due to their pink color as they mature, reminiscent of the eye color of a white rabbit) at a discount price until the end of August; the farm will then run at full capacity next year, so please look forward to summer of 2021!
